3D laser scanner survey of Ussel Castle

Archimeter has conducted a 3D laser scanner survey of the perspective facades, roofs, and interiors of Ussel Castle, one of the most important medieval castles in the Aosta Valley.

The 3D laser scanner survey has captured precise details of the exterior surfaces, roofs, and interiors of the castle.

Additionally, to achieve comprehensive coverage and detailed information on facades inaccessible from the ground, an aerial photogrammetric survey was integrated using drones. This has allowed the creation of orthophotos of the roofs and perspective facades, providing a complete and accurate view of the castle from various angles.

Through Archimeter's integrated approach, detailed documentation of Ussel Castle has been obtained, essential for the conservation, enhancement, and understanding of this important historical site.
